Alfie Wickins

Lead guitarist, songwriter and backing vocalist Alfie is the most reserved member of the band. He prefers to let his Gibson do all the talking.

You won’t find him smashing up his guitar or diving into the crowd, he’s the one standing just off to the side, quietly lost in the music. His presence is all about the sound but there’s a self-assured edge to the way he carries himself, he holds back until it’s time to cut loose. And then heads will turn.

When he steps up to play, everything changes. His fingers fly over the frets, coaxing out riffs and impressive solos that get stuck in your head.

He doesn’t say much, doesn’t need to but when he steps up to the mic, he delivers a vocal that seems to come from somewhere he doesn’t normally let people see. Some of the band’s grittiest songs are written and sung by Alfie.

Offstage he’s hard-working and sincere, when plans change last minute he’s already there, doing the work to keep the band moving forwards.

He is open-minded but he will always fight for authenticity. He won’t sugarcoat anything, his talk is straight and to the point.  It’s just about showing up, being true and putting every ounce into what matters.

A quiet powerhouse who doesn’t need words to make his presence felt. He’s the band’s secret weapon.
