Nathan Bennett
Nathan, as the bass player and backing vocalist, makes the low end sound as deep as the personality he brings to the band.
His sound is as raw as it is solid, like a punch to the chest. He’s there to do the dirty work, totally owning his space on stage whilst allowing the others to do their thing. And when he steps up to the mic, it’s not about stealing the show, it’s about making it whole.
Often topless, head thrown back, fingers working the strings like they’re an extension of him, he moves to every note he plays.
Nathan’s persona on stage is magnetic. He locks eyes with the audience, throws them a dazzling smile, interacts with them and draws them in for the ride. He’s the steady heartbeat of the band but not just musically, emotionally too.
Theres an approachable charisma to him, the kind that doesn’t try to impress, so you can’t help but like him. He makes everyone feel at ease in his presence.
Loyal to the core Nathan is the band’s peacemaker, he’s the voice of reason. When tempers flare he’s the one stepping in with a calm word or an ‘arse mint’ to diffuse the situation. He’s always there when someone is spiralling, always the one to say ‘You’ve got this and I’m here for you.’
He is the genuine article, in short he is the soul of the band.
